Bio's at the time of the production
Willis White. Willis was Grandpa VanDerhof, the lead of SPAO's
first production, "You Can't Take it With You" in 1989 and has been involved
with SPAO and referred to as Grandpa ever since. On SPAO's stage he was Dr. Bradman in
"Blithe Spirit", the dancing, singing Bellomy in "The Fantastics", a
dancer in "Dracula", and the old inn keeper in "Pure as the Driven
Snow". Willis appeared in SPAO's summer youth production of "Little Women"
and has worked backstage for all of the Summer Youth Theatre programs. Willis loves to
make people laugh. So much that he was asked to do just that by providing the opening to
Schuylerville's fall production of "Mornings at Seven". We welcome Willis as he
welcomes our audience to "Poisoned Pawn". Willis, a member of SPAO's Board of
Directors is retired and resides with his wife,Gloria, in Saratoga Springs.

Victor L. Cahn. Victor is a associate professor of English as Skidmore
College and his M.A. and Ph.D in English from New York University. Poisoned Pawn is a new
addition to his list of produced plays. His most recent roles were Harry Roat, the
psychotic villian in SPAO's "Wait Until Dark" and Clive in Home Made Theatre's
"Write Me a Murder". Victors primary avocation is the violin. He has several
recitals in the area and appeared on numerous occaisions as Soloist with the Skidmore
College Orchestra. Victor resides in Saratoga Springs.

Cynthia Robens. Cynthia is SPAO's treasurer, debuted as an actrss the spring
of '93 performing the lead female role of Cherie, the chanteuse of SPAO's "Bus
Stop". She gained another role in SPAO's "Pure as The Driven Snow". She was
Vampire Bride in SPAO's "Dracula", and the decrepit old maid in SPAO's Heaven
Can Wait". She has been a volunteer props advisor for the Sillwater Drama Society
productions of "George Washington Slept Here", and "My Son is Crazy-But
Promising". "I really don't know anything about theatre and all of the
production area or how they work, but I was interested so I tried and learned a little
more with each show." Cynthia is a letter carrier for the Postal Service in
Mechanicville and she resides in Stillwater.

Bonnie Zabinski. Bonnie is back after debuting as Elma, the naive
teenagewaitress of '93's spring production of "Bus Stop" and vampiress Mina in
"Dracula" the fall of the same year. "I have had so much fun with SPAO that
I couldn't wait to be a part of another SPAO show, either as an actress or the backstage
crew. Bonnie, originally from Mechanicville now resides in Malta. She is an occupational
Therapist at Wildwood School.
